The Colony
Swim Club provides swim lessons for club members only. Prospective
members on the Colony membership waitlist are allowed to take swim
lessons in Session #4 if space is available. The lessons are available
for children of all abilities. Lessons are taught by our life guarding
staff and follow American Red Cross guidelines. |
| |
Sessions and Times:
The first class time for each session will be 10:30 am. The second class
time will start at 11:15 am.
As recommended by the American Red Cross, we will limit class sizes in order
to provide a safe, manageable student-teacher ratio (typical: Level 1-3: 8
or less students, level 4-6: 10 or less students/instructor). We will try to
accommodate your first choice but reserve the right to assign second and
third choice. (Earlier postmark will get higher priority.)
Parents and children are asked to please stay behind the black fence
during lessons. If you intend to stay and swim after lessons are all over
please remember to sign in at the front desk.

Levels: Swim lessons are based on the American Red Cross “Learn
to Swim” program. If you’re not sure which level your child should be in,
please take your best guess and add a note to the lesson sign-up sheet, and
we’ll follow-up with you.
